Training courses in collaboration with local administrations

The Fundación Pluralismo y Convivencia has launched a training plan with the aim of enhancing the knowledge of religious entities on legal norms and relevant administrative procedures and boost their dialogue with local administrations. The first courses have taken place in Madrid during the month of June and, in the coming months, new editions will take place in different cities and in collaboration with the municipal governments.

Visit the new section "Institutions, centres and other projects of interest" which collects information on institutions and projects dedicated to the promotion and defense of freedom of religion and worship, interreligious dialogue and the dissemination of information on the legal and social reality of religion.

In the Course "Investing in Equality: toward more efficient and inclusive public policies" organized by the INAP and the General Directorate for Equal Opportunities.
In the Seminar "Comparing public commissions on cultural and religious diversity" organized by the Université de Montréal in collaboration with the KAICIID.

We have spoken with David Martin Abánades on the role of local police in the management of religious diversity

The General Directorate of Religious Affairs of Catalonia has developed and distributed among the Catalan local governments a document with general criteria for improving the management of requests of sporadic use of municipal facilities by religious entities.

Burgos City Council has organised a Seminar on "Religious Pluralism and Coexistence in Europe" which addressed the challenges raised by the protection of the freedom of thought, conscience and religion in the context of construction and development of European societies.

The Fundación Ellacuría has launched an informative video about religious pluralism within the Egin to be initiative: a citizen training project to generate videos related to the activities and the work of the Foundation.
